So there's no real category for something like this, so I put it in tutorials instead. Consider this an art challenge. After the success of the other painting exercises (the spheres, and the bulb and lighting), I figured it was time for something more challenging and creatively stretching. This one will be different than the last.
The Goal.... colorize the drawing on the right using the color palettes from either of the photos on the left as a starting point. Use whatever means you'd like to paint it. But... the end image must not have the black line art in it. Pure color artwork is what I'm looking for. Feel free to be creative, even change the design slightly if you'd like, but try to create something that shows the physics of light in your scene.
