So there's no real category for something like this, so I put it in tutorials instead. Consider this an art challenge. After the success of the other painting exercises (the spheres, and the bulb and lighting), I figured it was time for something more challenging and creatively stretching. This one will be different than the last.
The Goal.... colorize the drawing on the right using the color palettes from either of the photos on the left as a starting point. Use whatever means you'd like to paint it. But... the end image must not have the black line art in it. Pure color artwork is what I'm looking for. Feel free to be creative, even change the design slightly if you'd like, but try to create something that shows the physics of light in your scene.
Happy Painting! And if you do create something and let me know I will post a link here to your art. I'm excited to see who might take this challenge and to see what you come up with.
You do not need to use Corel Painter, any program will do.
Here's links to the artwork of those who told me they tried it...charcocyberdogdisappearing-keyartistluveratachansaraneshoroiethenassadyjbhandsky228devoid-existencekataunidcolorfgorepixelwitchanda0105ahnakonda
