Year 3 map in the Elevate series. The theme of this one was (obviously) a movie set where each area has a film set idea. There's a military set, a live performance concert area, an urban city set, a construction site, a downtown studio area, a hostpital set, and a wacky upside-down area. It was painted 9000 pixels by 5000 to be able to print huge, created in Corel Painter.
**NOTE** I updated the file with a new edit. The hospital has been removed and a Robot factory put in it's place (client's great suggestion to make it more interesting)
Oh my goodness. That's amazing; the colors are brilliant, the shading is godly, the ideas are fantastic... just who ARE you? D: But I would so love to go to a place like that; perhaps with about a half a dozen cameras so I can even photograph the very dirt I walk upon. Because really, that'd be some cool dirt, if this is anything to go by.
Fanatastic work! I do have a question though, when working 9000 x 5000, do you get lag or latency when using Corel's brushes? I find it frustrating working on a large canvas because the brush stroke is so delayed relative to the movement of my stylus.

That's gorgeous! The detail and lighting are mindblowing! Do you mind if I put this as my desktop wallpaper?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The 25 semi-finalists for our "Darksiders: Your Last Days" contest have been selected! The ultimate winners will be chosen by Joe Madureira, aka "Joe Mad" of Vigil Games. Check out the awesome semi-finalists to see who made the cut!
