Another 3D set created for a client to be used as a backdrop for a live action shoot. The theme is a playful robot factory. This is supposed to be the main scientist's workshop

Created in Maya.

Thanks! I hope the video was helpful! I'm working on a full DVD that goes much deeper on the subject (lighting in Maya)

Woh, man. I just love 3d; I'm trainin' alone at home.
It would be good if I had some money to pay a good course, but some day I'll get there.

Keep at it. Are you using Maya, 3DMax, or something else?

Yes, it's 3DMax. I'll start studing Zbrush too.
But Max is still my favorit.

Well, Zbrush is a great tool. I have seen amazing works with it.
Since I've start "trying" 3D work I got dizzy with Zbrush workflow. Well, maybe someday you see some good work of mine.
Until then, I try to learn what see.
