ElevateJr_RobotFactoryPart3of3 by jermilex ElevateJr_RobotFactoryPart3of3 by jermilex
Another 3D set created for a client to be used as a backdrop for a live action shoot. The theme is a playful robot factory. This is supposed to be a repair shop where the robots are made and fixed.

Created in Maya in about 12 hours.

Thanks! Do you have a good library for those or create them in the program?

mostly procedural textures so I don't have to worry about UV's on quick sets like this (single day projects). I do have a good library of bitmap textures too. I love www.cgtextures.com

ahhh thank you very much! I always forget that word, procedural. I'd better brush up on using those.

haha this is great :) very nice feal to it again like always.. what I think is unusual in this piece is that it has suchs a light feeling. There is al lot of incoming light because of the large windows and glass roof. As a robot 'factory' I would think of a more dark and unfriendly atmoshpere.. maybe some smaller windows in the top of the roof with some light rays coming through, giving it that misterious feeling. Can you tell me what kind of film this is that this is made for? Wondering about the script :P nice work man!

Thanks! This is actually for a client that is a church and they will be doing a skit lesson in front of this background. As the material is for preschool kids they wanted it all to be very bright, colorful and playful.
