ElevateJrSpyCity3D by jermilex ElevateJrSpyCity3D by jermilex
Several sets I did for backdrops for a new kid's video series. I created them in 3D (Maya). These were done very quickly (1 day each) and the goal was to have them playful, colorful, and very preschool but still cool. The theme is a Spy City with various locations. They were used as backgrounds with live action characters keyed over top.

Created in Maya.... wow I've posted very little of my 3D work up here on DA

thank you! The materials were very very basic in this one... almost everything is done with the lighting

I read that you did lighting for Pixar, so I will take your word ;) Working for them is one of my dream jobs. I am used to 3DS Max, but just started Maya so still getting used to the lights, they are a little touchy. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I do work for Pixar doing Lighting. Keep working at Maya... it's takes a bit to master but it quite powerful once you have it down. keep creating!

No textures... only simple cartoony procedural shaders to keep it fast to create and to have the simple style the client was looking for
