another try at getting an animated version of my painting up (flash). Corel Painter has an awesome feature of being able to record your painting as you do it. Hopefully this works, if it doesn't I'll delete this post

Damn, that's a pretty awesome feature. I gotta try and obtain a copy of Corel Painter now.

looks freakin mad! love the softness of it and just the over all feel im just getting it to corel painter myself and man its a big transition when u hav been photoshop forever...i was wondering if u had any tips about what brushes are good and how u blend in the solid colurs and stuff, cause its soo confusing at times. haha
cheers.
you know, it really makes a difference when you get to see the process step by step. i'd always had this misconception that really skilled digital landscape designers avoided using the blending tool, to preserve that raw brushy texture, but I guess I was very wrong. Though I've never used Corel Painter before, I'm assuming it has basically the same options as photoshop.
One thing, is it possible to get those oil paint-like square-ish brush strokes (which you've used on the hill on the left) without the Corel software? (like if I were to make that effect on photoshop - would I need to download a brush that style?)
