So for the past year I've been working on the film "Brave" and it's finally out in the world. Let me know what you think. After you've seen the film I can tell you what sequences i worked on if you're interested. I had a lot of fun helping to make this movie. Woohoo!
In other news, I'm now working on another Pixar short (can't say what it is yet, but you'll see it next summer in front of "Monsters University"). It's been challenging and fun.

I also think that Merida was the purest female character I've ever seen. She was never the least bit obsequious, and she didn't do any culturally instilled female body language of women, and yet she still came off as totally female. The subtleties of that expression of her personality blow my mind. I can't wait to get my hands on the DVD and try to pick apart and learn all the masterful components of it that worked so well that I totally forgot I was watching a movie through the whole thing. It was like having a terribly, beautifully vivid and personal dream. I think it's one of the greatest feats of storytelling I have ever seen, and I am a story connoisseur.
I was eagerly waiting for the 'Brave' movie , i saw it in the first opening weekend. Its a lovely movie, Once again a great stuff from a great company like PIXAR.. Loved its visuals and the soft lighting look of the movie.
